JELIC PROGRAMS KIDS CAN DO

The first 6 years of human brain development are the most important, At 1 year old baby, their brain has alrady grown to 80% of an adult's brain capacity, while at 6 years old, it has developed to 90 % of its full potential. During these first six years, the brain exhibits the most intense growth and connections between neurons, signifying increased processing and learning.  Therefore, at this age period, stimulating activities in a structured environment is critical in developing a child's mind and encouraging a love for self-learning.



Independent Learner

Learning through self experimentation, which is part of the Montessori methodology that is applied in this program enables the child to get both the left and right brain connected in the learning process.

 

Independent Thinker

The child is coached to learn by themselves. Teachers observe the children and offer guidance at the request of students.

 

Creative Problem Solvers

There is a surprise in each box and this trains the child to learn to see things from different angles and perspectives. Innovative and creative ideas to solve problems always come up while playing with the JELIC games.

 

Confident and Focussed Child

Learning in the JELIC classroom is always in a quiet, timely and an orderly manner. This encourages the child to stay focus on their own materials while respecting the learning process of others. Once each game is completed, our children are coached to return the materials in place as part of their exercise.
